WRTP | BIG STEP’s 2022 Impact Report highlights the organization’s commitment to progress, courage, and the expansion of its training programs in partnership with local, statewide, and federal government entities, associations, regional supportive service providers, and local partners. WRTP | BIG STEP’s certified pre-apprenticeship programs now include green construction, CDL Class A licensure, and heavy highway construction, while youth in the communities have access to BIG STEP Builders and Summer Trades Academies. The organization’s work has received national recognition, including a visit to the White House as part of the Talent Pipeline Challenge. According to President and CEO Lindsay Blumer, “We get to do this work together, and that work is activating the space between dreams and reality. That’s the space where courage lives, and that’s the space where WRTP | BIG STEP will always be.”
