As the designated anchor institution for Milwaukee's Workforce Hub, we're bringing together employers, industry associations, contractor groups, unions, community-based organizations, and local, state, and federal leaders to ensure equitable access to opportunities created by the Workforce Hub. Representatives from many of these organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, and City of Milwaukee, joined us for a tour of our Milwaukee headquarters this week.

EPA acting assistant administrator Bruno Pigott, Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development director David Polk, Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, and others toured the WRTP | BIG STEP headquarters in Milwaukee Tuesday to get a first-hand look at pre-apprenticeship training in action. Pres. Joe Biden named WRTP | BIG STEP as the anchor institution for Milwaukee's Workforce Hub, meaning we'll lead the efforts to address the workforce opportunity resulting from federal investments into the city.
