WRTP / BIG STEP

In 2023, Senator Tammy Baldwin championed a congressional spending request to fund the modernization of our Milwaukee training center. WRTP / BIG STEP was awarded the funds. Sen. Baldwin came to our Milwaukee office to see the results of our renovation for the first time.

Participants in our EVSTEP program showed the senator how the new shop, mobile training pods, and brand-new tools are being put to work already. They asked Sen. Baldwin questions about her commitment to certified pre-apprenticeship training during a roundtable discussion.

💪 Thank you, Sen. Baldwin, for supporting our work in the community and investing in our future workforce!
