Are you a current high school student in Milwaukee looking to learn more about a career in the skilled trades? Try WRTP | BIG STEP’s Summer Trades Academy this June, where you’ll explore the trades with visits to sites affiliated with the Milwaukee Building Construction Trades!
- Learn about the apprenticeship process in union construction.
- Visit trade halls and contractor facilities
- Watch live demonstrations
- Gain hands-on training experiences
Qualifications
- Current student living within the City of Milwaukee
- 16 – 19 years old
- Able to commit to 9 AM – 2 PM schedule June 20 – June 24
- Must attend information session and complete registration process
