Entry Level Manufacturing Skills Training Class

WRTP/BIGSTEP works to prepare students for employment in various manufacturing positions, including assembly, forklift operation, as well as other opportunities.The ELMS Program is an intensive, non-paid 100-120 hour manufacturing preparation program geared towards preparing individuals to meet the workforce needs of manufacturers in the area.
Participants will obtain instruction in:
- Forklift Training
- OSHA 10
- Manufacturing Mathematics
- Mechanical Aptitude and Spatial Recognition Test Preparation
- Mechanical Aptitude and Spatial Recognition Test Preparation
- Manufacturing Site Tours
Requirements:
- Have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license or ID
- High school graduate or completion of HSED/GED
- Sixth grade math and reading level
- Ability to pass the a drug screen
