Entry-Level Manufacturing Skills Training Class

The ELMS Program is a 60-hour manufacturing preparation program geared toward preparing individuals to meet the workforce needs of manufacturers in the area. WRTP | BIG STEP works to prepare students for employment in various manufacturing positions, including assembly, entry-level machine operator, as well as other opportunities.
Mandatory Recruitment / Information Session

December 5, 2022 – December 16, 2022 | 8 AM – 2 PM
Classes Include:
- MSSC Safety Certification
- Manufacturing Mathematics
- Basic Blueprint Reading
Qualifications for Training:
- Sixth grade math and reading level
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Wisconsin photo ID
- Updated resume
Employers Will Interview Successful Graduates
WRTP | BIG STEP works to prepare students for employment in various manufacturing positions, including assembly, forklift operation, as well as other opportunities. Job place-ment assistance is provided to program graduates. Starting wages for these positions are between $17 and $29 per hour, depending on the hiring employer and the studentās prior work history.
