This Fed Listens event brought together education and workforce development leaders from across the Chicago Fed’s Midwest region to discuss the following:
- The experience of youth who were in high school or college during the pandemic as they begin their working lives.
- The ways that workforce transitions may be different for young people from low- and moderate-income backgrounds and those without a bachelor’s degree.
- Strategies that community colleges, vocational institutions, and workforce organizations are using to support such young workers.
