That means our sector is losing out on utilizing the talents and skills of women\, and women are losing the opportunity for some great\, family-supporting careers.  \nJoin Gateway Technical College for their 3rd annual Women in Manufacturing Day on Saturday\, October 16 from 8:30 AM to 2 PM at the SC Johnson iMET Center. DESCRIPTION:Do you want to obtain your HSED and construction training at the same time? If you are between the ages of 18-24 and a Milwaukee County resident\, you can!\nPRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED\, WALK-INS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. \nCream City YouthBuild prepares young adults for careers and employment in the construction industry through a focus on attaining a high school diploma and construction skills while receiving exposure and access to employment in the construction trades. Eligible participants will work on construction sites acquiring construction and life skills through a combination of hands-on learning and mentorship. Visit the WRTP | BIG STEP for more information and to apply for this program. \nTo apply\, go to Employ Milwaukee and search “Programs and Services YouthBuild.” \n\nSubmit a Pre-Registration Form Online\n\nUpon completion\, you will be contacted by one of our WIOA Career Coordinators to complete the application process.
