The MC3 Construction Training Program is an intensive, non-paid 130-160 hour training program for students seeking to prepare for success in a constriction apprenticeship and begin their careers as a professional in the skilled trades. Graduates will be recognized with certifications from the North America’s Building Trades Union and acquire advanced level of knowledge and skill needed to succeed in the their apprenticeship and on the worksite. As a part of the program, you may qualify for the Department of Transportation TrANS Roadbuilding certificate program. TrANS certification programming is tied to contractors with Department of Transportation workforce needs. MC3/TrANS increases your opportunity for a career in the skilled trades.

Initial Mandatory Recruitment/informational Session:
May 18, 2019 10:00 AM

Tentative Training:
June 17 – July 25
Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Documents to Bring:

  • Have a valid driver’s license & clean driving record (or documentation in process)
  • High School graduate or completion of HSED/GED (or documentation in process)
  • Sixth grade math & reading level
  • Either an eligible applicant on a trade list OR willing to pursue a construction apprenticeship
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
