WRTP | BIG STEP ELCS training is a 12-week certified pre-apprenticeship program through the State of Wisconsin. ELCS training provides industry-recognized credentials and hands-on experience that connect individuals to careers in construction. This program is at no cost to you and will make you stand out*!

Training Schedule:

Classes run Monday – Thursday | 5 – 9 PM, Madison College – Truax Campus

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or completion of HSED/GED (or documentation in progress)
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • Either an eligible applicant on a trade list OR willing to pursue a construction apprenticeship
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Social Security card
  • Digital literacy
